What this site collects, why, and how to change your mind. Plain English, last updated 7 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Mensia Limited (company 17231746), 10 Hudson Drive, Preston, PR4 2ER. Questions about your data go to Matt Haworth at matthew.haworth@mensia.co.uk or 07999 768276.
What I collect when you get in touch
If you fill in a form, request a quote or run the website health check, I receive what you typed: usually your name, business, email, phone number, your message and any quote you built. It is stored securely so I can reply and keep a record of the quote. I use it to answer you and, if you become a client, to do the work. I do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.
Emails are sent through Resend and records are stored with Supabase, both on secure, access-controlled systems. AI features (the quote helper and the health check) send the text you enter to Anthropic to work out the answer. Enquiries are kept for up to two years, or longer if you become a client and the law requires it.
Cookies and measurement
Essential cookies keep the site working and are always on. With your permission, Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies tell me which pages and adverts bring enquiries, so I can spend less on the ones that do not. Until you choose, they stay off and Google only receives anonymous, cookieless signals.
Vercel Web Analytics also counts page views without cookies or personal identifiers.
You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email me and I will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
