Fourteen teams, more than 240 members, and one proper website the volunteers can run themselves.
A football club founded in 1936, with fourteen teams and over 240 members, was being run on scraps of information scattered across messages and spreadsheets. It needed one proper home: fixtures, results, a match centre and somewhere to look after sponsors.
The catch with any club site is that volunteers have to keep it going. So it was built to be updated by normal people, not developers.
The club now has a single, professional home that does justice to 90 years of history, keeps 240+ members in the loop, and gives sponsors somewhere to be seen. Best of all, the volunteers keep it running without needing me again.
